The Harvard Business Council (HBC) is thrilled to honor Dr. Pauldy Otermans, Principal & Chair of Otermans Institute, as the esteemed Diamond Level HBC Women Leader Award recipient. The HBC 2023 International Awards, which commenced on January 16th and concluded on May 5th, witnessed an extraordinary influx of over 2000 applications from outstanding organizations and individuals worldwide. However, after a rigorous evaluation conducted by the esteemed HBC Jury over the subsequent two weeks, only 13 nominees were selected as winners, including the remarkable Dr. Pauldy Otermans.

The illustrious HBC 2023 International Awards ceremony occurred at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etiahd Towers, marking a historic milestone as the first in-person event held outside the United States. Distinguished personalities and esteemed organizations from the MENA region graced the occasion, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration. Among other things, she co-developed OIAI, the world’s first digital human AI teacher that first started teaching refugees in 2021 and set up Otermans Institute which serves learners across three continents.
