CLEVELAND, OHIO – August 24, 2026 – The wait is officially over. Rising Stars: Leave It On The Mat, a new reality series following the athletes, coaches, leadership and legacy of Rising Stars Academy, will officially begin streaming on Tubi on September 4, 2026.

Years in the making, Rising Stars: Leave It On The Mat takes audiences beyond the trophies and performances for an inside look at what it takes to develop young athletes in the competitive worlds of cheer, dance and tumbling.

Led by Rising Stars Academy founder, Coach Shaura, the series captures the high expectations, tough love, sacrifice, leadership, family relationships and championship pressure that exist behind the scenes of a competitive youth program.

“This has been a long time coming,” says Coach Shaura. “For years, we have been building something much bigger than routines, trophies and championships. Rising Stars has helped young people discover their confidence, leadership and potential. Now we finally have the opportunity to share that journey with the world.”

Throughout its four-episode first season, viewers are introduced to the history and legacy behind Rising Stars Academy while watching athletes train, overcome unexpected obstacles and step onto the competition floor with everything on the line.

The season takes audiences from the foundation of RSA to the intensity of Leave It On The Mat competitions, where teams battle for rings and bragging rights. Viewers will also witness the pressure behind championship performances, last-minute routine changes, emotional setbacks, major victories and the lessons that athletes carry far beyond the competition floor.

But Leave It On The Mat is not simply about winning. At its heart, the series explores what happens when young athletes are challenged to become leaders, teammates and resilient young people while navigating the demands of competitive athletics.

Season 1 also celebrates the generations that have helped build Rising Stars Academy – from family members and alumni to coaches, Brand Ambassadors and athletes preparing to pass the torch to the next generation.

As the season comes to a close, audiences will get their first look at returning athletes and rising personalities whose journeys will continue as the story moves toward Season 2.

FROM A DREAM TO THE SCREEN

For Coach Shaura, bringing Rising Stars Academy into the reality television space represents another chapter in a journey built over years of coaching, mentoring, competition and community.

The cameras capture both sides of that journey: championship celebrations and difficult practices, laughter and tears, pressure and perseverance, as well as the relationships that have made RSA a family.

“People see the performance, but they do not always see what it took to get there,” Coach Shaura says. “They do not see the corrections, the nerves, the sacrifices, the setbacks or the moments when an athlete has to decide whether she is going to fold under pressure or rise to the occasion. That is the story we wanted to tell.”
